About Me

Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, it is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love Crucified Arose

Long ago He blessed the earth
Born older than the years
And in the stall, a cross He saw
Through the first of many tears
A life of homeless wandering
Cast out in sorrow's way
The Shepherd seeking for the lost
His life the price He'd pay

Love crucified arose
The Risen One in splendour
Jehovah's soul-defender
Has won the victory!
Love crucified arose
And the grave became a place of hope
For the heart that sin and sorrow broke
Is beating once again!

Throughout Your life You felt the weight
Of what You come to give
To drink for us that crimson cup
So we might really life
At last the time to love and die
The dark appointed day
That one forsaken moment when
Your Father turned His face away

Love crucified arose
The One who lived and died for me
Was Satan's nail-pierced casualty
Now He's breathing once again!
Love crucified arose
And the grave became a place of hope
For the heart that sin and sorrow broke
Is beating once again!

He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.

Find Us Faithful

We're pilgrims on the journey of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful
Encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace.

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness passed on through Godly lives

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone
And our children sift through all we've left behind
May the clues that they discover
And the memories they uncover
Become the light that leads them to the road we each must find

Think Before You Act

How many of us actually think before we act?

Actions can be voluntary or involuntary. But a lot of times our actions are prompted by emotion. When we give way to emotion, we might just do something which we will regret later on in our life.

For every action, there is a reaction in the opposite direction. Rephrasing it, for everything that we do, there is a consequent to which we shall be responsible for.

So, have you thought a little while over what you are going to do today? Think before you act, so that your action does not hurt your loved ones.

Have a blessed day. :)

Monday blues...

Mondays..

To many a people would be a new beginning of the week, a day which brings forth hope and a renewed mind. A day which they can be reconciled with friends, colleagues, etc. A day to seek new strength, to start anew, to march into the world with a cheerful heart.

To some would be a dreadful day. A day which brings forth new sufferings, a day which marks the beginning of a long struggle, a day to receive tonnes of work and assignments, a day to labor endlessly.

The question is: ARE MONDAYS REALLY THAT BLUE?

One thing that I really thank God for is the place I'm working at. See?

Morning view of Wesley Methodist School Ipoh

Its morning scenery brings a lot of peace and stillness within. It's a good place to seek God, to calm my heart, listening to birds chirping, and the distant mooing of cows - its simply perfect to remind me how wonderfully God created the earth.

Mondays are not so bad after all - provided if you start off with the correct pace.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases
His mercies never come to an end
They are new every morning
New every morning
Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord
Great is Your faithfulness."

Have a blessed Holy Week. :)
